KILLING SHERLOCK
Lucy Worsley on the case of Conan DOyle (BBC2)
The historian Lucy Worsley charts the extraordinary love-hate relationship between Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his most famous creation – Sherlock Holmes.
A thematic score with tonnes of melody and character, with solo violin and viola from Joni Fuller, alto and bass flute from Sandro Freidrich, and modular synth noises, piano and Rebab (a very, very old string instrument) by me.
Also has one of my favourite themes I’ve written so far, and is absolutely full to the brim of leitmotif (in the singular) as you will see if you watch the making-of video below!
